Rachel earned her BA in Psychology from UW Madison with a focus on research. After graduating, she struggled with finding meaningful work. Eventually, she stumbled upon social work and was inspired to return to school to complete a Master of Social Work degree from George Williams College.
What drew her to social work was the profession’s core values which include: social justice, dignity and worth of the person, importance of human relationships, integrity, service, and competence.
Since graduate school, Rachel has gained experience working as a psychotherapist, serving individuals of all ages as well as couples and families. She has also worked for a couple years doing case management and skill development with those who live with a severe and persistent mental illness (SPMI). Open to new experiences and therefore, ready to learn and work with anyone.
