As a CCS Provider, Sophia brings a compassionate and evidence-based approach to supporting mental health and substance use recovery. With two years of experience as a registered nurse in inpatient psychiatry, Sophia has supported children, adolescents, and adults navigating a broad spectrum of life challenges, including mental and physical health, trauma, addiction, poverty and learning disabilities.
Her practice specializes in physical health monitoring, individual skill development, mindfulness, trauma-informed care, and motivational interviewing. Sophia aims to create a nonjudgmental and collaborative environment where clients can confidently address their specific needs and goals. Whether it is enhancing self-care, managing physical health, or increasing community involvement, focus is rooted in promoting resiliency and balance.
Outside of work, Sophia continually finds inspiration in gardening, reading, cooperative living, yoga, music, and exploring nature with others. She holds degrees in Nursing, Conservation Biology, Environmental Studies, and German from UW-Madison.
