Sam is pursuing a master’s degree in clinical counseling through UW Superior. She is currently completing her internship.
She enjoys supporting teens, young adults, and adults who are experiencing struggles related to depression, anxiety, and other life stressors. Sam does service facilitation work in addition to individual skill development and psychoeducation. She uses elements from cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavioral therapy. Sam is in the process of becoming a body trust provider, looking to support individuals with body acceptance. She places great emphasis on building strong partnerships with the individuals she supports.
In her free time, Sam enjoys crafting, drinking coffee, and playing with her cat, Nora.
