Amy has lived experience with mental health and addiction and has overcome trauma. She believes that recovery is an individual process and is different for each person and can have many diverging paths to get to the desired result. Her approach to recovery is holistic encompassing mind, body, and spirit and springs from a place of hope.
Amy is compassionate and open minded, accepting of all people. She believes that recovery is based on respect and self-acceptance and wants to help people realize their full potential by supporting them while they develop a positive and meaningful sense of identity and regain a sense of self.
Amy is a very involved in both traditional and non-traditional recovery programs and believes in making recovery fun. She is a passionate animal lover, enjoys yoga and the performing arts, and volunteers in the community.
