Throughout her career in education, Laurie has been an advocate for children and families. Her expertise encompasses working with youth from diverse backgrounds, addressing their unique academic, social, and emotional needs, including challenges related to poverty, homelessness, mental and physical health, substance abuse, addiction, and learning disabilities.

As a dedicated CCS Provider and Service Facilitator, Laurie places great importance in building strong partnerships with children and their families, constructing individualized goals, and establishing comprehensive support networks to promote growth and development. She has deep-rooted passion for children’s welfare and approaches her work with kindness and empathy.

Laurie’s academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education and a Master’s of Education with a focus on Educational Leadership. A proud mother of two adult children, Laurie enjoys reading, biking, learning to knit, and walking with her golden retriever, Roscoe.
