KRISTI GOLDADE

MA, APSW

“Our feelings are our most genuine paths to knowledge” – Audre Lorde

Kristi Goldade, MA, APSW, walks with her clients to alleviate and prevent their suffering with evidence-based treatments, such as somatic and cognitive tools, acceptance and compassion methods, and mindfulness. She has treated clients who struggle with the effects of trauma and stress, as well as mood and anxiety conditions. She believes effective intervention stems from honoring (and honing) our purpose and strengths.

She received her MSW degree in Clinical Mental Health from UW-Madison, where she trained in the eco-systems model, motivational interviewing, trauma-informed care, and CBT. Kristi has 20 years of experience working with youth, adults, and families as an educator, facilitator, and editor. She draws inspiration from these previous roles, as well as from her practice of yoga and mindfulness. She loves learning and practicing holistic ways of wellbeing. Her most recent foray has been exploring Wisconsin’s wild and edible mushrooms and plants!

Kristi works relationally to help you explore areas of pain and peace. Whether you are seeking to accomplish a certain goal or not quite sure what you need, she will collaborate with you to create a plan to support you in finding a greater sense of empowerment and wellbeing.
