A Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Gilberto Gutierrez is a passionate advocate for children’s mental health, weaving compassion and creativity into every interaction.

Gilberto has served children and families as a Service Facilitator and CCS Provider in Dane County for over 10 years. With a strength-based focus Gilberto promotes growth through his commitment to service and helping others through the empathic caring service he provides.

Gilberto has lived in Madison for 11 years moving here from his childhood home of South Los Angeles. Having two school age children of his own, Gilberto is familiar with K-12 classrooms and has a history of working with children in a school setting from his 10 years as an educator in the Public Schools. As a Psychotherapist, Gilberto is trained in CBT, Motivational Therapy and Systems Theory Family Therapy.

A bilingual CCS Provider his second language is Spanish. Gilberto loves to play soccer and spend time with friends after games.
