CANDICE DIENBERG

MSW, LCSW, SAC

Candice has over 10 years of experience in the field of mental health. She has a master’s degree in social work from University of Wisconsin-Madison and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor (SAC) and has extensive experience working with those affected by addiction.

Candice has worked in Child Protective Services, a community support program, a hospital-based organization that provides outpatient and short-term in-patient AODA services, and a private mental health agency. Within these organizations, she has had the pleasure of working with individuals, couples, and families in a variety of settings including inpatient, outpatient, schools and in the home.

Areas of expertise include treating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, and addiction. Treatment modalities she utilizes when working with clients are Motivational Interviewing (MI), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), psychoeducation and mindfulness. These tools assist Candice in providing a person-centered environment that is free of judgement to focus on the client’s strengths and achieve their goals on improving the quality of their overall mental health and well-being.

Candice is certified to provide EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) Therapy.
