Matthew earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Edgewood College and his Master of Science in Counseling from UW–Madison. He was previously a Licensed Professional Counselor in Training (LPC-IT) and a Substance Abuse Counselor in Training (SAC-IT). He has over 15 years of experience serving individuals of all ages, primarily focusing on serving men and young adults from various backgrounds, using a solution-focused, person-centered approach.

He began his career in Arizona, case-managing individuals with severe and persistent mental illness who qualified for Social Security Disability. More recently, he has worked in and with community-based residential facilities (CBRFs), homeless shelters, jails, hospitals, and substance abuse treatment facilities, serving and advocating on behalf of his clients.

As a CCS service provider, Matthew provides individual skills development and enhancement services. Building upon people’s existing talents and helping them overcome challenges is the name of the game.

Matthew remains an active member of the recovery community, committed to serving others with compassion and integrity. He seeks to live out his calling by offering hope, encouragement, and support to those around him, and is dedicated to guiding others toward hope and restoration.
